Word naming is a common concern among older adults, worsened by social isolatio which reduces speaking opportunities and increases communication lapses. This talk, led by Amy Vogel-Eyny, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, Assistant Professor at Hunter College, CUNY, will overview the latest research on how social isolation impacts cognition in aging, with a focus on changes in word naming.
